Product Authenticity in Nepal
Every product page on this catalogue includes an Authenticity section describing what is actually known about how that specific product can be checked for genuineness — not a general claim that the product is genuine. This page explains the fields we use, the four possible verification statuses, and how to read them.
What "Authenticity" Means Here
Vape Nepal does not operate a laboratory and cannot physically inspect every unit sold in the market. What this catalogue can do is document, per product, whether a manufacturer has published an official verification method, and describe that method plainly. The Authenticity section on a product page is a record of documented verification information — not a certificate that any particular unit in your hand is genuine.
Authenticity Fields Used on Every Product Page
These are the fields shown in the Authenticity tab of every product page. Each is answered only from documented sources — a blank or "not disclosed" answer means the information was not found, not that it doesn't exist.
Manufacturer identified?
Whether the product's manufacturer — as distinct from the seller — has been named and identified.
Official product page available?
Whether the manufacturer publishes its own page for this exact product that can be cross-checked against catalogue information.
Verification method
A plain description of whatever mechanism the manufacturer or packaging provides for checking a specific unit — for example, a batch code printed on the base — or a note that none was found.
QR verification?
Whether the packaging includes a QR code intended for authenticity checking against an official system.
Serial number system?
Whether individual units carry a serial number, and whether that number is documented as checkable.
Batch code?
Whether packaging shows a batch or lot code, printed or otherwise.
Scratch verification?
Whether packaging includes a scratch-off panel containing a code intended to be checked against an official system.
Packaging identifiers?
Whether the packaging itself carries identifying marks — holograms, security seals, or printed identifiers — beyond a plain product label.
Importer/distributor information?
Whether the importer or distributor for the Nepal market is disclosed on packaging or accompanying documentation.
Official verification page
A link to the manufacturer's own verification tool or page — shown only when one genuinely exists and has been checked, never invented.
Verification Statuses
Each product is assigned exactly one of four statuses, based only on what has actually been documented for it:
Verification method documented
The manufacturer publishes a specific, checkable verification method — such as a QR lookup, serial-number system, or scratch code — and it has been documented for this product.
Partial verification information
Some verification-related information exists — for example a batch code or packaging identifiers — but there is no complete, checkable official verification method.
No official verification method found
No manufacturer-provided verification method could be found for this product at the time it was documented.
Information unavailable
Authenticity information for this product has not yet been researched or documented.
Examples on This Site
These demo product pages show two of the four statuses described above, applied to the same authenticity fields.
Volara Aero 5000
Partial verification information — a batch code and packaging identifiers are documented, but no complete official verification method was found.
Nimbus Cloud 4000
No official verification method found — no manufacturer-provided verification method could be identified for this product.
